When I download an Acrobat (PDF) or MS Word (rtf) file it comes up garbled.
This error is related to browser compatibility when downloading MS Word (RTF) or Adobe Acrobat (PDF) files. For one reason or another, it does not properly recognize the file type. We highly recommend using the latest version of MS Internet Explorer, because it integrates better with other applications. However you can get around most of these issues by right clicking on the icon or link of the file you want to download and choose either “Save Target As..” or “Save Link As..”, depending on your browser, and save the file to your hard drive. Then open it directly from the appropriate application, MS Word or Adobe Acrobat. This will more than likely fix the problem.
